Our Volunteer Program aims to create growth opportunities to the UX community in Portugal and to the UXPA Portugal non-profit association, namely through having UX Professionals volunteering at our Association.

Here’s what you can expect from participating on our Volunteer Program:

Grow UX in Portugal

UXPA Portugal’s Volunteer Program is opened twice a year, which means you can apply to the following seasons: March-July and September-January.
For each season, UXPA Portugal will accept a maximum of 3 volunteers.
After successful completion of the program, you can apply to being a volunteer in next seasons.
The program offers the benefits described in the next section (on the side).
When applying to the program, you will share what competencies and skills you aim to develop so that we can design a role that matches your goals and the Association needs.
When joining the program, you will commit to work towards the goals that were designed for your during the whole season you applied for.
Candidates selection is made:
- according to the compatibility between the skills the candidate wants to develop and the needs in terms of work of the Association;
- positive decision from the Association after an interview with the candidate;
- definition of specific goals for the volunteer to accomplish during the program and its acceptance by the volunteer;
- acceptance of the program conditions by the volunteer.
