Mentee FAQs
How do I qualify as a mentee?
To participate, mentees have to fill in the application form.
They also need to be a UXPA Portugal Professional member by the application submission date. Learn more about membership and its benefits.
How long does the program last?
The mentorship cohort typically lasts two to three months.
For this first edition of the program, we're keeping dates flexible to better understand and adjust to our community needs.
This means you can enroll anytime as long the program is open, and you'll work with your mentor to set a specific period for the mentorship. We do recommend around 3 months of collaborative work.
How often am I expected to meet with my mentor?
You should plan to meet with your mentor at least once every other week for the duration of the program. Some meet more, depending on their schedules.
What happens after the program? Can I continue working with my mentor?
Of course! If you and your mentor are able to, we would hope that you would continue to work together past the duration of the cohort.
Can I apply again in the future?
Yes! You can join the program as many times as you like. We don’t have any restrictions on how many times you can sign up.
What if my mentor and I aren’t a good fit? Do I get another mentor?
Yes! We understand that not all matches are perfect. If you feel that you and your mentor aren’t a good fit, let us know and we’ll match you with someone else.
